Karen Davidson

President and CEO

Karen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Leo University and a Master of Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. She has been a senior finance executive with 25 years of experience in health care and non-profit organizations with a focus on developing and executing financial, operational and strategic plans to grow the profitability of highly complex, multi-entity organizations. Her role at GGI includes managing operations for finance and all sub-functions including information technology, procurement, treasury and investments, building maintenance, and insurance lines of coverage. She has a passion in supporting organizations that assist individuals and families in our community in overcoming food insecurity and hunger. She and her husband and four children live in Jupiter.

Carol Richmond

Chief Financial Officer

Carol graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University. As Chief Financial Officer, Carol brings over 20 years of experience to Gulfstream Goodwill, in finance and accounting. She is a meticulous financial leader with expertise in cash management, cash forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Prior to her time at Gulfstream Goodwill, she held leadership roles at Palm Tran Inc., MorseLife Inc., and Palm Beach County Clerk and Comptroller’s Office. Carol is dedicated to providing compassionate support to vulnerable individuals, which is why she has worked in non-profit and the public sector for most of her career. Carol lives in West Palm Beach and dedicates her free time to her daughter and close friends.

Erin Kozlowski

Chief Development Officer

Erin graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology.  She spent a semester abroad in Italy at the American University of Rome and enjoyed graduate courses at Cornell and New York University, in addition to the emerging leaders program at University of Miami.  Erin is an accomplished senior executive who has spent the last 23 years successfully promoting non-profit, luxury and entertainment brands.  She has a remarkable track record in maximizing profitability and leading operations, while integrating cultural reforms to motivate new departments.  Her role at GGI includes managing the philanthropy, marketing and public relations operations.  She is committed to serving the intellectually disabled population and is driven to provide inclusive opportunities for the most vulnerable people.  Erin and her husband live with their two children in West Boynton Beach.

Laurie Meyer

Vice President People & Culture

Laurie graduated from Randolph Macon Woman’s College with a Sociology degree, followed by an MBA from Averett University. As Vice President of People & Culture, she brings an extensive background in Human Resources to Gulfstream Goodwill, from both the public and private sector. Her experience includes Vice President of HR at Monarch, as well as Chief Human Resources Officer for Anne Carlsen, a statewide provider of behavioral health support in North Dakota.In her more than 20 years in Human Resources, Laurie has distinguished herself as a trusted advisor and dedicated employee advocate. Laurie and her husband, Ken, live with their two dogs in St. Lucie County. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, history and exploring museums.

Shannon McGhee PhD

Vice President of Education and Development

Dr. Shannon Chancellor McGhee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Mercer University, Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. She has 16 years of higher education experience to include various positions within academic affairs, enrollment management, and student affairs. As Vice President of Education and Development, she administers the educational programming for clients served by Gulfstream Goodwill. Additionally, she oversees the training, orientation, and professional development initiatives for all staff of the organization. New to the state, Dr. McGhee spends her spare time exploring the area, seeking out opportunities to become more involved in her local community, and enjoying family time with her husband, Nikia and their son, Hunt.

Karl Tomecek

Vice President of Information Technology

Karl has worked in the technology arena for over 25 years and has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. In addition, he also has an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Science degree in Software Development from Maryville University. Previously, Karl was a VP at Citibank managing operations in New York and Miami. He was also a Director for Johnson & Johnson for the Latin American region. Most recently, Karl was the Global IT Director for the largest floral producer in the US. Karl has a passion for teaching and has been an adjunct professor for over 10 years at several South Florida universities. Karl has 6 children and cherishes spending family time, camping, playing video games and music. He also speaks 3 languages and enjoys learning about different cultures.

Lisa Mason, MS

Assistant Vice President of Community Programs

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Lisa brings over 15 years of experience in human services and non-profit programming, advocacy for persons with disabilities, and creating innovative, quality services. In 2021, Lisa was granted a gubernatorial appointment to the Florida Rehabilitation Council (FRC). The FRC provides best practices, policies, and processes to the Department of Education’s Vocational Rehabilitation statewide programs for Floridians with disabilities. Additionally, she is a graduate of Nonprofits First Advancing Leaders 2022 cohort. Her role at GGI includes development and oversight of: Justice Services, Capabilities of the Treasure Coast, Capabilities of the Palm Beaches, and employment initiatives. Lisa is committed to providing opportunities for the most underserved populations in our community. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants. Lisa, her husband and two children live in Jupiter Florida.

Kerri-Ann Brown, MSc.

Division Director, Homeless Residential Services

Kerri-Ann graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Diversity and Social Justice, she then pursued a Master of Science with a concentration in Human Services. Kerri-Ann possesses over 14 years of experience in the field of Homelessness/ Housing and is passionate about serving people who are living with mental health diagnoses and substance use disorders. Kerri-Ann has a remarkable track record of providing quality services to underserved populations and believes in working for the good of those who face challenges. In her role at Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Kerri-Ann oversees the Homeless Residential and Affordable Housing programs and provides strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team. In her spare time, Kerri-Ann enjoys visiting her family and friends, exploring different cultures, traveling and spending time with her dog, Cutie. 

Joshua Lee

Senior Director of Business Development & Contract Operations

Joshua Lee is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in various facets of management and business development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Contracts and Business Development at Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Joshua brings a wealth of expertise in retail management, loss prevention, and safety to his role. Throughout his extensive career, Joshua has demonstrated a keen ability to drive results and foster growth within organizations. His strategic leadership has been instrumental in developing and implementing successful business strategies that optimize operational efficiency and maximize profitability. Driven by a passion for the outdoors, Joshua finds solace and inspiration in nature. Whether it’s hiking through rugged terrain or competing in outdoor sporting events, he embraces challenges with a competitive spirit and a relentless drive to succeed. With a strong track record of leadership and innovation, Joshua Lee continues to make significant contributions to the fields of management and business development, leaving a lasting impact on the organizations and communities he serves.

Laura Waterman

Director of Community Programs

Laura joined Gulfstream Goodwill Industries (GGI) in 2014 and she has been instrumental in creating successful programs for both at risk youth and adults reentering our community. Laura’s knowledge, commitment and passion for the re-entry population is an integral part of Gulfstream’s successful programs outcomes. As a result of her successes and the growth of justice service programs, Laura was promoted to the Director of Justice services, overseeing the programmatic and administrative priorities of the justice programs. In 2022, Laura’s role expanded to include the programmatic oversight of Capabilities of the Palm Beaches and of the Treasure Coast Adult Day Training programs. These are programs offered to participants with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD) to provide life skills, job training, social experiences, and inclusive community involvement. Additionally, Laura provides training in Motivational Interviewing for GGI and other nonprofit agencies. Laura is a natural trainer with 25 years of experience in the education arena as a Director of Financial Aid. Laura’s purpose is to assist others in reaching their fullest potential. Laura resides in West Palm Beach and enjoys all sporting events and spending time with her adult son, her family, and friends.
