At the Career Academy of the Palm Beaches, every student’s success is a victory. We are dedicated to helping students with developmental and intellectual disabilities build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to achieve meaningful employment and greater independence. Through individualized instruction, hands-on training, paid internships, and real-world career experiences, students discover their strengths and prepare for life beyond the classroom.

Our Capabilities Program is an active day program for adults (ages 18 and up) with developmental disabilities. We operate at a 1:10 staff-to-participant ratio and offer individualized case management services. The program is designed to enhance employability, build social awareness, and develop meaningful relationship skills.
