The Career Academy of the Palm Beaches
is a public charter school that assists students
with developmental or intellectual disabilities in
obtaining competitive and supportive employment
in the community. Through tailored instruction and
hands-on training, students develop the skills needed
to achieve greater independence and succeed in the
workforce.

Eligibility

The Housing Our Heroes program is available to U.S. Veterans who are:

  • Currently experiencing homelessness, or

  • At risk of becoming homeless

Applicants must also be in need of assistance securing safe, stable housing and may be eligible for supportive services such as housing navigation, case management, and connection to community resources.

You may qualify if you are:

  • A U.S. Veteran

  • Currently without stable housing, staying in temporary shelter, living in a vehicle, or facing displacement

  • At risk of losing your current housing

  • In need of support with locating housing and accessing services

Support may include:

  • Housing assistance

  • Case management

  • Support services

Referrals to community resources

If you are a Veteran in need of housing support, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about available services and eligibility requirements.
