Your Donations Change Lives!

Gulfstream Goodwill Industries accepts new and gently-used items sold in our retail centers. By receiving and selling gently used clothing, furniture, household goods, appliances, toys and more, Gulfstream Goodwill is able to provide life-changing services that help people achieve greater independence. Gulfstream Goodwill and the people we serve are very grateful for your donations.

Tips to ensure your donation receives the maximum value:

Do
  • Separate clothing from household items in boxes or bags
  • Wash or dry-clean clothing
  • Wrap breakable items in newspaper and place in boxes
  • Test electrical equipment (wrap cords around items) and battery-operated items
  • Include all pieces and parts to children’s games and toys
  • Clean computer hard drives of personal/business information and include the operating system
Don't
  • Leave items unattended outside a collection center
  • Donate broken or soiled items
  • Give items that have been recalled, banned or do not meet current safety standards. For more information, visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission
  • Due to stringent government regulations and the high cost of disposal, we are unable to accept the following items:
    • Paint, cleaning supplies or other hazardous materials
    • Mattresses, box springs, bed pillows and water bed components
    • Broken, stained or worn furniture
    • Construction materials, plumbing or building supplies
    • Automobile parts or tires
    • Hot water heaters, water softeners, trash compactors and furnaces
    • Inoperable or damaged appliances
    • Personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, nail polish, fragrance items or phamaceuticals
    • Carpet or carpet padding
    • Weapons such as guns, bows and arrows, ammunition, hunting knives, etc
    • Venitian blinds or window treatments
    • Medical assistive devices or hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers (Please contact Clinics Can Help to donate these items.)
